L.A. high-schoolers Valerie and silent women and shrews: eroticism and convention in 'epicoene' and 'measure for measure.'Gabriel sold custom buttons together for months to save up enough money to visit Disneyland, their third time making the trip together.
This time, though, Gabriel had a surprise in store, and you know what time of year it is: promposal season, baby!
This Tweet is currently unavailable. It might be loading or has been removed.
Valerie spoke to Mashableand walked us through the steps Gabriel went to to make this sweet Disney promposal happen.
While the couple roamed the park and took pictures with characters, a separate group of friends got a pair of custom ears embroidered to say "Prom?" at Gabriel's request.
When the time was right, while taking a picture with Pooh, Gabriel popped the question with a sign that read "Prom would be Pooh without you so bee my honey," and gave her the ears.
Valerie said of the moment it happened: "I was speechless and extremely happy. I couldn't believe it. It was a dream come true!"
She says they're both shocked at how many people have seen and responded to her tweet, saying, "it was weird," but that it makes her "happy knowing others love the idea!"
