Some of the best moments of the Academy Awards are Lee Donot captured by television cameras or red carpet pics. They happen after the show is over, in the throes of various parties—like Elton John's annual post-Oscars celebration, or the mysterious Beyoncé and Jay-Z bash we keep hearing about.
Before making their way there however, almost every celebrity first stops by the legendary Vanity Fair party and has their photograph taken in an decadent mini-studio session. This year was no different—except courtesy of VF, photographer Mark Seliger blessed us all by assembling an iconic photograph featuring all your favorite black luminaries.

"There is space for everyone to be excellent, loved and supported and we are not waiting for a seat at the table. We are building our own tables, together," Gabrielle Union wrote on her Instagram, reposting the image.
