Great news for Squidward: someone finally thinks he is Singapore Archivesa good artist.
If this tweet from November 20 is to be believed, some dude's mom purchased a replica of Squidward's "Bold and Brash" painting from the "Artist Unknown" episode of SpongeBob SquarePants. You know, the painting to which the buyer responds "More like belongs in the trash." (Sorry, Squid.)

"Found it at Walkers for $250," she told her son in a text message, "but the guy selling it said it could be worth $3000 or more."
Hm. We're not sure about thousands of dollars, but we do think it might be ... priceless?

UPDATE: Nov. 29, 2016, 12:40 p.m. EST Sure enough, looks like it's fake: 19-year-old Austin Alexander has contacted Mashableclaiming he took the original photograph featured in the viral tweet.
Additionally, Alexander says the "painting" is actually a $15 poster from RedBubble -- a poster he purchased back in June.
All's well that memes well.
