A strange,Horror recent side effect of spending too much time on TikTok: Learning how to make brownies. That's because users are spamming comment sections on videos with a brownie recipe. And the thing is, it's not exactly clear why people are doing, just that they are.
Sometimes trends are trends just copycatting, and that seems to be what we're working with here. It's just annoying to do, so people are doing it. Things can be that simple.
Anyway here's the recipe, or, more exactly, the ingredients:
1/2 cup butter
2 eggs
1 cup sugar
1/3 cup cocoa powder
2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 cup flour
It's almost always presented as some form of "anyway, here's my recipe for brownies." Here's some screenshots of examples I saw on TikTok.
It is truly impossible to avoid this brownie recipe, which frustratingly includes no directions for actually cooking the dessert. Scroll through your For You Page and check for yourself. Pretty much any TikTok with any semblance of virality has been thoroughly spammed. Funnily enough, it's actually really pissing people off. Some have taken to responding with things like "here's the recipe for stfu."

So, sure, there doesn't appear to be any rhyme or reason beyond the TikTok trend beyond being annoying, spammy copypasta. But it's definitely working in that regard.
Anyway, here's a real, and actually good recipe for air fryer chicken wings.
