Amazon is Lina Romayready to take its Echo smart speaker to the next level with an all new, smaller Echo.
The new model has an even stronger focus on audio, including Dolby Digital support and new far-field microphone technology for picking up voice commands accurately. The company announced the new device at its headquarters in Seattle today.

The new Echo is smaller that the previous iteration and has six new fabric shells and even a wood veneer version available to help the Echo fit better into home decor.
It's also just $99. Available in the UK for £89 and Germany for €99 Euros. There's even a three-pack of new Echos available for a $50 discount to support multi-room audio.
If you already own an Echo, you probably don't need to upgrade your device though. This new version only sounds and looks better — but ultimately does the same things as the last model.
