Lovato said it best in the first comment on an Instagram post asking why Lovato wasn't on the lineup, "Cause I wasn't asked."
This sparked even more speculation as to why Grande would intentionally leave out her buddy Lovato -- but it seems like a lot of drama over nothing, as Teen Voguepointed out.
On Lovato's own Instagram page she has the British Red Cross donation link for the Manchester Emergency Fund up in her bio and one of her recent posts is the One Love Manchester ticket announcement. Doesn't look like bad blood between the two performers.
Many comments streamed in trying to calm down flame-fanning fans. User dangerouswomandemiwrote, "Guys, @ddlovato was just saying she didn't get invited. It doesn't mean that @arianagrande doesn't like her. Plus it was probably her management who picked the singers. ☾"
Another commenter, opheliaspilots, tried to refocus everyone to what matters, "It don't matter whose performing y'all, it matters what the cause is for."
Exactly. The concert is raising money for the survivors and family members of the explosion at Ariana Grande's Manchester concert last week that killed 22 people, including a young girl and teens.
For everyone who rushed Thursday to buy tickets to the now sold-out event, the lineup includes big names including Justin Bieber, Coldplay, Katy Perry, Take That, Niall Horan, Miley Cyrus, Usher, and Pharrell.
