If Econ 101 taught us anything991 Archives it's that supply follows demand. But U.S. Secretary of Energy Rick Perry interpreted the basic principle a little differently while at a coal plant in West Virginia Thursday.

According to Market Intelligence energy reporter Taylor Kuykendall, Perry offered up some wisdom at a tour of the Longview Power Plant. "Here's a little economics lesson: supply and demand. You put the supply out there and the demand will follow."
