While the Galaxy Buds 2 aren't the newest Samsung model, they still do a great job at a mere fraction of the cost other brands are sticking on earbuds. In Mashable's review of the Samsung Galaxy Buds 2 by Alex Perry, the earbuds earn a Mashable Choice award, scoring a 4.25 rating out of 5. On the list of pros, Perry includes, "super comfortable, fantastic ANC (active noise cancellation), love the look, and decent options."
Samsung agrees they're comfortable, mentioning the slim and lightweight design, which could be great if you're not fond of heavier earbuds. Samsung also points out the ANC Perry liked. This feature can be useful if you'd rather tune out the sounds happening around you.
The Samsung Galaxy Buds 2 also focus on being ideal for taking calls. With three microphones and noise reduction technology, the earbuds are designed to ensure you're heard clearly on any call.
It's worth mentioning that Perry didn't find the battery life impressive. He said with ANC turned on, he got between 3.5 and 5 hours of listening time on a single charge. That lifespan means they could be perfect for daily use like a commute, walking the dog, or getting ready in the morning. But they might not cut it on a flight to Europe this summer.
