When the going gets rough in Overwatch,Anchorwoman A XXX Parody sometimes you gotta try throwing an alternative hero into the fray. Just make sure you pick a hero that you actually know how to play.
The newest Overwatchhero Orisa -- who just released Tuesday -- was picked for the first time in a pro-level match Wednesday and her professional debut could not have gone any worse.
SEE ALSO: 'Overwatch' pro uses Sombra in a tournament, dies immediatelyIn a match between Renegades and CompLexity during the OverwatchCarbon Series, Renegades was having a difficult time taking the control point away from CompLexity on Nepal. As CompLexity was getting closer and closer to taking the game, Renegades' Preston "Juv3nile" Dornon switched off of D.Va and ran into the fray with Orisa in a desperate attempt to turn the tide of the game.
As soon as Orisa was picked, the commentators started to get excited and so did the viewers.
Unfortunately, Renegades couldn't take advantage of Orisa's toolkit and CompLexity crushed the team's assault. Orisa fell to a Reinhardt charge almost immediately.
This just goes to show why Blizzard disabled Orisa in competitive for the first week of her release: players need some time to get used to how she works. Clearly Juv3nile needs a bit more time with the hero to make proper use of her.
