Back in May,Cinema Movies | Cinema Movies free | Cinema Movies latest 2022 TikTok announced the launch of TikTok Symphony, a creative suite designed to help brands put together AI-generated ads. Now, the social media giant is expanding these tools, announcing generative AI avatars for brands and creators.
It's an interesting move, allowing Symphony users to use digital avatars for creative and branded content. TikTok is offering both "stock avatars", which are pre-built with paid actors and licensed for commercial use, and "custom avatars", which are crafted to represent a creator's likeness or a brand's spokesperson or figurehead.
With this new tool, the content you may on your FYP will likely be more regularly AI-generated. TikTok, like other big social media platforms, has implemented ways to label AI content and let users know that what they're seeing has been made with the help of artificial intelligence.
Andy Yang, head of creative product at TikTok, said that the avatars will "unlock a new avenue for creators to scale their opportunities with brands globally."
"We aim to fuel the creator economy by investing in creative solutions that spark joy, imagination and action," continued Yang in a statement.
TikTok also revealed additional features attached to Symphony, including AI-dubbing, which will allow creators and marketers to translate content into over 10 languages and dialects, in order to connect with bigger audiences globally. According to TikTok, the tool will automatically detect the original language in a video, later transcribing, translating, and producing a dubbed video in the selected languages offered.
It seems TikTok is slowly rolling out more AI-related tools, and we can assume there's more to come. The wildly-popular app has been playing around with several other new features of late, including ChatGPT-generated search results.
