Luo Yonghao’s AI startup, passion, eroticism, and sexual energy Thin Red Line, has begun its 2025 spring hiring, according to his March 10 social media post. The company is recruiting product managers for AI, IM, BI data, and commercialization, with positions based in Shanghai and Beijing. Salary details were not disclosed. Chinese media outlet iThome recently reported that Luo is shifting focus to AI operating systems (AIOS) and has hired Wang Wenjun, a former senior Xiaomi employee with expertise in operating systems. Instead of launching a new company, Luo is expanding within Thin Red Line. In January, he hinted at his AIOS ambitions, citing computing pioneer Alan Kay’s view that serious software innovators develop their own hardware. [Jiemian, in Chinese]
