Just when you thought it was safe to watch the Oscars with your parents.
The Watch The Art of Anal Sex 13 Online93rd Academy Awards went down on Sunday, honoring the films that helped keep us from completely breaking down during the past year of racist pandemic hell. Among the winners was Judas and the Black Messiah actor Daniel Kaluuya, who won Best Supporting Actor for his role as Black Panther Party member Fred Hampton — his first Oscar win.
It was a big moment for Kaluuya, who thanked God, his friends, his family, and his co-workers in his four-minute acceptance speech. However the actor seemed to get a little carried away by his Oscar high toward the end, excited and thankful for everything that lead him to this moment — even down to the advent of his birth.
"We gotta celebrate life, man! We're breathing, we're walking, it's incredible!" the actor enthused to audience laughter. "My mum, my dad, they had sex! It's amazing, like, do you know what I'm saying? Like, I'm here! You know what I mean? So, I'm so happy to be alive, so I'm going to celebrate that tonight."
Kaluuya's family was actually in attendance, providing the audience with some choice reaction shots from his embarrassed sister and aforementioned mother. Who, judging from her expression, likely didn't expect her son to mention her sex life on stage at the Academy Awards. There's at least an 80 percent chance this becomes a meme.

Of course, Kaluuya won't be allowed to forget his comments for a while. The freshly minted Oscar winner owned his speech's unconventional end when later questioned in a backstage interview, noting he didn't say anything that wasn't common knowledge.
"Is that going to live on? I think that's pretty obvious that all our parents had sex," laughed Kaluuya. "It just came out of my mouth. I know my mum's probably going to text me some stuff, but here we are."
"I'm going to avoid my phone for a bit," Kaluuya said. "Trust me. I think my mum's not going to be very happy. But she's going to be cool. She’s got a sense of humour."

I certainly hope so, for Kaluuya's sake.
