Elon Musk is Tila Tequila sex tape porn videohaving a rough 24 hours, and if his Twitter followers don't like it, then they can just get bent.
The Tesla CEO made waves late last night for a bizarre rant about "freedom," only to completely melt down during a Wednesday Tesla earnings call when asked about Bay Area shelter-in-place orders.
Musk's appetite for self-righteousness apparently wasn't sated, however, and following the call he hopped on Twitter to tell his 33.4 million followers that if they didn't like his misrepresentation of facts then they should get lost.
Notably, Musk implied incorrectly (among other things) that Bay Area officials are "forcibly imprisoning people in their homes." To be clear, they are not.
When one presumed follower told Musk that he is "LOSING followers and respect by the second," Musk's reply was simple: "Bon voyage."

Musk, who famously keeps claiming to have delivered ventilators to hospitals — despite a CNN report finding that hospitals are receiving much cheaper CPAP and biPAP machines — has repeatedly demonstrated an inability to know when to shut up. From saying coronavirus panic is "dumb," to hyping a potentially dangerous COVID-19 treatment, the CEO seems to be incapable of realizing that people listen to him and that his words have repercussions.
Of course, maybe he realizes it all too well. The CEO has a huge stock payout on the line, and it all depends on how Tesla performs — something that is no doubt impacted by the shelter-in-place orders and coronavirus.

Either way, the internet very much thinks Musk should take a deep breath. Well, either that or fully embrace his supervillain-like ways.

Maybe — and I'm just throwing this out there — a little self-isolation would do Musk some good.
