Ryan Reynolds was really around during the latest Saturday Night Live. After he crashed Will Ferrell's opening monologue,Second Hand Market Find A Seppa he popped up again during "Weekend Update" -- this time to wear a bright orange vest and make what seemed like thousands of sex jokes.
Reynolds plays a character named "Guy Who Knows the Owner," which is also known as a wealthy asshole. He's joined by fellow wealthy asshole "Guy Who Just Bought a Boat," who is played by Alex Moffat. Together, they turn each wholesome and nice thing about Thanksgiving into a viscerally upsetting innuendo under the guise of "dating tips."
"Slide some Land O'Lakes under the skin to make that white meat wet," Moffat says at one point. Disturbing!
Reynolds's contributions go a little less smoothly than Moffat's. "Play your cards tight and she'll slip off her Louboutin pumps and play a little under-the-table footsie that'll have her saying 'Is that a giant, old, soft decaying banana in your pants or are you just not interested to see me?'" he says.
"That's what she'll say?" replies Colin Jost (who — fun fact — is engaged to Reynolds's ex-wife, Scarlett Johansson).
Reynolds did make it through the entire segment without mentioning Aviation Gin.
