Fans of George R. R. Martin's A Song of Ice and cooples sensual eroticismFireseries have had to come to terms with the fact that Game of Thrones is totally going to spoil the ending of their favorite book series, but Outlanderboss Ron Moore doesn't think Diana Gabaldon's fans have anything to worry about on that front.
"I cannot imagine a scenario where we catch up with Diana Gabaldon," Moore said during the show's panel at the Television Critics Association summer press tour on Friday. "She’ll tell us what the end of the story is."
Gabaldon has published eight books in her series of Outlandernovels so far, with a ninth in the works, while Starz's Outlanderis currently entering its third season.

"If Starz and Sony will have us, we’ll absolutely keep making the show," executive producer Maril Davis agreed.
That's good news, because there's plenty of story still to tell in the journey of Claire (Caitriona Balfe) and Jamie (Sam Heughan).

"It’s just a sequence of twists and turns ... it’s the great thing about this series of books and our show, you’re constantly being kept on your toes. Who would’ve thought we’d end up with ships and in Jamaica. The story can go anywhere and frequently does, and that keeps it interesting for all of us."
Heughan agreed, "We're very lucky, Diana Gabaldon’s created this remarkable world. What makes our show different is it’s constantly moving, it’s constantly changing -- not just every season, but every episode is surprising and we go somewhere else. Jamie’s a lot of fun to play, he’s the other side of Claire and they’re a great team together, but I’m enjoying growing up with him."
