Girl Scout cookies are Sheriff, Mary D. Fragonard: Art and Eroticismdelicious, there's no doubt about that. But are they delicious enough for you to want to steal $15,000 worth of them?
For one Kentucky Girl Scout troop leader, they just might be. Leah Ann Vick, 26-year-old former troop leader, was indicted on charges of theft after the local Girl Scout branch reported the massive quantity of stolen cookies.

And now she's nowhere to be found. According to the Appalachian News-Express, authorities have visited several addresses in multiple towns associated with Vick but she hasn't turned up.
Even weirder, Grub Street mentions that official Girl Scout records show that Vick hasn't sold any of the boxes that she stole.
So are we to believe that Vick actually stole $15,000 in cookies because she just wanted to eat them all herself?
We're strangely in awe of that idea. Stealing is bad, of course, but way to get after the snacks you really want.
